Skin Care Old & New + Usual routine

21-02-2019

In the process of trying out “Naturkosmetik”, German word, to find out if my skin can tolerate more skin and environmentally friendly products. That also means leaving behind my beloved pharmacy products, which I’ve been using for years and years.
One step at a time, which isn’t an easy thing to do when there’s an array of products to try out, though mostly online.
STOPPED:
v  Avene TriAcnéal Expert Emulsionthe product that I’m almost 100% sure cured my leftover acne! It’s been almost two weeks, since Monday 11th of February. Have been eating chocolate regularly, but so far so good. No new pimples.
v  My adored Tony Moly petit bunnies tinted lip balms are filled with bad things!!!!! The horror!!!! Since a few days back, beginning of the week maybe.
v  And the Kiko Make Up Milano Coloured Balm RED for the same reason.
v  Jowae Concentré Jeunesse Anti-Taches, a serum, and Crème Légère Lissant Anti-Rides, a light texture cream, because after a few days a rash appeared on my right cheek close to my nose and it started to spread. The first sign, a tiny little bump, happened a couple of days before starting to use these, but after stopping their usage again, for over a week, it is now almost gone.

STARTED:
v  So Bio Etic BB cream Perfecteur de Teint (yes, it’s French) 5 in 1, around Friday 15th of February. Shade 01 beige nude works perfect for me. However, I’m still using the ISDIN Fusion Water sun 50 that mattifies everything you place on top, reason why I like it so much. Don’t know if it will become greasy on top of other sunscreens… But so far I like it very much and it holds throughout the day, for now (Winter and with a very mattifying sunscreen underneath)!
v  Logona Klärendes Peeling-Gel ohne Mikroplastik (German; Bio & NaTrue & Vegan), a purifying peeling gel with bio-mint and salicylic acid from willow bark, appropriate for oily and blemished skin. TODAY. Not to harsh, but no the softest. It’s a physical exfoliator that can be softer or harsher depending on how you massage your face. I would advise very caution on very sensitive skin, though my skin is sensitive enough and it didn’t complain. Did not feel drying either and I left it on my skin for a couple of minutes. Twice a week is how I will use it.
v  Sante Smooth Colour Kiss tinted lip balms (German). Both colours I tried are very pink, unfortunately. No reds, most unfortunately! One left to try but it’s on the orange side… Replaced the Tony Moly Bunnies and the Kiko balm.
v  OLD FORMULA Logona Klärende Reinigungsschaum (German; Bio & NaTrue & BDIH) with Bio Mint and Witch Hazel (the new one has the same formula and ingredients as the peeling gel. But I bought this one on sale a while ago and was unaware that it was the old formula. Expires on May of this year)

Morning routine: Innisfree Green Tea foam cleanser (started a week ago and it feels a bit drying); Nuxe Prodigieuse Boost eye and concentrate; ISDIN Fusion Water SPF 50 (that apparently is filled with toxic Inhaltstoffe); SO Bio Etic BB cream(Bio & Ecocert) and the usual make up which will be replaced little by little.

Did eat CHOCOLATE today.

Night routine: Nuxe cleansing oil (contains palm oil derived substances, so not that good and will be replaced once it’s over); OLD FORMULA Logona Klärende Reinigungsschaum; Nuxe Prodigieuse Boost oil balm night.
