Pixi Order arrival and daily ramblings 23th May 2019


I received my order from LookFantastic, that I paid with my own money, yesterday! Two Pixi products: Glow Mud Cleanser and the H2O Skin Drink. Of course I used the cleanser yesterday, instead of the Innisfree one. It was a complete different, and still is, experience for me: it doesn’t foam. For me it’s something new, don’t’judge! I’ve always used foam cleansers, without the harsh foaming ingredient SLS, but they still foam up. This does not and it will take some time for me to get used to that fact, it feels as if it’s not doing the job properly. Yet, I used it again this morning and evening. And the glow tonic after. Although while applying the tonic it did sting a bit, it’s been almost an hour and no more stinging or itchiness came about, like the other three times. I’m happy! Next it’s the Caudalie Vino Perfect Serum.

However, yesterday night, after cleansing my face, I noticed a small red spot close my nose, on my right cheek. It was there this morning and I used the Vichy Hyalu Spot treatment today, in the morning. It’s still there, but faded a bit.

The Caudalie Sunscreen is coming to its end, so a new one must be bought. Although this one is good and smells nice, it would be nice to try a “dry touch” one to see how it feels and looks. I don’t want my face to look completely matt, but not incredibly shiny either. Bearing that in mind, the La Roche-Posay Athelios should be the next one.

I’ve felt really tired throughout the day and the sleep problem continues to haunt me…

ISDIN Fusion Water SPF 50+ Review and thoughts

Definitely my favourite sunscreen to date. I’ve tried an array of products over the years and this is the 2 nd that left a very good impression. The first one, by the way, was The Body Shop’s sunscreen for the body that existed over 15 years ago, when I was still a teenager. The reason: after my usual beach period in the summer, not forgetting I was a stupid teenager that didn’t care about the sun that much, I was the exact same colour as before. No bikini marks anywhere and no tan! Most people like to tan, but I like to enjoy the beach without tanning. I cannot say for sure that the ISDIN Fusion Water does the same, because as soon as the sun starts warming up in Spring, I either wear hats (if you see someone wearing a hat on the street it’s probably me, nobody else wears them) or hide in the shade. It stings! Daily ramblings 21th May 2019

It stings! My face feels really smooth, but it stings. It’s the third time I’ve used the Pixi Glow Tonic. And the Pixi Peel&Polish was used in the morning. Interestingly enough, my face doesn’t feel smooth or soft after the Peel&Polish. It doesn’t sting, though… Complicated situation. What should one do? For the time being these will continue to be part of my routine as follows: Glow Tonic on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at night time; and the Peel&Polish mornings twice a week , but it needs adjustment regarding which days exactly. This now needs to be topped of with the Caudalie Vino Perfect serum, to moisturise and calm. Today was not a good day for me. There’s this disgusting, rude and vulgar man that keeps throwing himself at me every time he sees me, even when my grandparents are right there next to me! Avène TriAcnéal Expert and rambling

Sehr warm heute! I’m starting to think that some of the red spots that have been appearing lately have more to do with allergies and stress. When I’m too stressed, I tend to get allergic reactions. They are itchy and don’t feel like regular pimples. I’ve been doing the usual: v   Avène TriAcnéal Expert – 3 nights a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays v   Pixi Glow Tonic – 4 nights a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays v   Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser has been used every single day and night, for over a week v   Pixi Peel&Polish - two mornings: Tuesday and Saturday Of course sunscreen is used daily. I haven’t noticed anything different yet, except for the occasional red spots that have yet to be understood. But again, the stress and lack of good sleep, could be one of the causes.
